Job Description

Exceptional Needs Education Teacher K2 Self-Contained (Autism Support)

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a supportive Illinois district to welcome a Special Education Teacher to lead a self-contained K2 classroom serving students with autism and other low-incidence disabilities. This full-time role for the school year offers an incredible opportunity to shape young learners communication social and academic development in a structured nurturing environment.

Position Highlights:

Provide direct instruction and interventions for a caseload of up to 10 students.
Adapt lessons to meet IEP goals while maintaining alignment with district standards.
Track progress through accurate documentation and ensure full compliance with IEP requirements.
Work across no more than two grade levels ensuring concentrated support and effective teaching.
Collaborate closely with educators parents and service providers to support consistent learning outcomes.

Requirements

To be considered for this role candidates should have proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a closely related position along with a strong background in working with children who have a wide range of disabilities. An active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a special education (LBS1) endorsement is required. A bachelors degree from an accredited university is necessary while a masters degree is highly preferred.
