Job Description

Now Hiring: Certified IL Special Education Teacher

Immediate Start Date Self-Contained Setting

Our Organization is seeking a dedicated educator who thrives in a collaborative environment working closely with families caregivers and school teams to design personalized learning approaches that support each students unique strengths and needs.

As the classroom teacher youll design and deliver individualized evidence-based instruction aligned with each students IEP. Youll monitor progress adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and foster a positive environment where every child can grow with confidence. Collaboration is at the heart of this position youll work hand in hand with paraprofessionals therapists and families to provide holistic coordinated support that addresses both academic and social-emotional goals.

Your leadership and compassion will play a pivotal role in creating an inclusive classroom where every learner is valued. Youll also implement proactive behavioral strategies and provide targeted interventions to help students develop essential emotional regulation and self-management skills.

Requirements

Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement.
Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role.
A bachelors degree from an accredited university is required. A masters degree is a plus.
