Supervise a team of mechanical technicians and ensure effective execution of preventive corrective and breakdown maintenance. Plan schedule and assign daily maintenance tasks for mechanical systems including pumps blowers gearboxes valves piping and compressors. Monitor equipment performance and conduct inspections to identify issues before failure. Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of mechanical faults to minimize plant downtime. Review and maintain maintenance records checklists and reports using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Coordinate with electrical and instrumentation teams to support integrated maintenance efforts. Oversee inventory and requisition of spare parts tools and consumables. Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations. Support in the installation testing and commissioning of new mechanical equipment. Train and mentor junior technicians to build team capacity and ensure skill development. Prepare and submit reports on mechanical performance issues and recommendations to the Maintenance/Plant Manager. Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience: Minimum 58 years of mechanical maintenance experience in water or sewage treatment plants with at least 23 years in a supervisory role. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of pumps rotating equipment valves piping systems and plant utilities. Familiarity with CMMS and ability to interpret engineering drawings and equipment manuals. Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
