Job Description
Exclusive to TPF Recruitment were recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a highly successful firm of accountants based in Maidstone. Our client is looking for an Accounts Senior to join them in a rewarding and progressive career opportunity. This will be a hands-on position where you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts management accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT.
You will have increasing responsibility and the opportunity to progress within your career and develop technically in this exciting Accounts Senior position. Our client promotes a friendly and relaxed working environment where you can maintain an excellent work-life balance or push on to potentially become a partner in the future should you wish. The position will be built around the candidate and their aspirations. Our client is also offering hybrid working 2 days a week from home.
- Managing a diverse client portfolio including attending client meetings
- Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Corporation and personal tax computations
- Completing more complex management accounts bookkeeping and VAT work
- Overseeing basic bookkeeping and VAT returns from more junior staff
Requirements
- Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience
- 3 years experience within an accountancy practice experience
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns.
- Experience with QuickBooks Xero or Sage would be advantageous.

- 40000 - 45000 dependent on experience and background negotiable.

Required Skills:
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
