- Control and acknowledge all store requisitions
- Control and record all Void made in the Restaurant
- Report daily Restaurant revenue (logbook VS Income Auditor daily revenue report) and correct it in case of mistake
- Complete the daily log book with operation details
- Issue Micros Card request
- Follow up on the implementation of any promotion / special event
- Supervise the weekly cleaning plan
- Supervise the weekly grooming check list
- Report and follow up on all needed maintenance requests
- Complete the daily acknowledgement form
- Communicate any problems or areas of concerns
- Keep the Restaurant guests database updated and accurate
- Ensure communication and introduction of all FB promotions to Restaurant team
- Control all equipment in the Restaurant to ensure full Stocks
- Ensure that there is enough equipment to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct monthly linen inventory
- Conduct monthly cutlery inventory with assistance from the stewarding team
- Submit vacation plan and application for leave
- Conduct briefing before each service and communicate on all out of stock items
- Monitor all Voids issued in the Restaurant
- Conduct Monthly Assessments of the Supervisors
Financial and Revenue Responsibilities
- Communicate the financial target (budget) to the team
- Is active and work hard to reach the budget by using upselling techniques
- Monitor the cost linked to the operation
Training and Human Resources Management
- Develop trainings in accordance to the operational needs
- Train the team on a regular basis and in accordance to the training plan
- Issue training checklist for all training given
- Establishes effective employee relations and maintains the highest level of professionalism ethic and attitude towards all hotel guests clients heads of department and employees
- Complete all staff requisition forms and sign on it at least 2 weeks prior the actual date staff is needed
- Give regular positive and negative feedbacks to each team member in a constructive way
Guest Service Responsibilities
- Ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Develop customer loyalty and recognition
- Introduce and up sell any special events / promotions
- Gather guest feedback and report to Managers
- Work hard to satisfy any guest requests
Operational Responsibilities
- Support the Managers to manage the entire Restaurant.
- Ensure smooth and efficient service at all times
- Ensure an extremely detailed service
- Ensure proper atmosphere of Restaurant according to the time of the day (music lighting aromas temperature)
- Ensure good communication between kitchen and Restaurant service team
- Check all operations set up
- Know and ensure full follow up on the MGallery brand standards
- Monitor and control the cleanliness of both front and back of the house service stations
- Ensure proper organization of all service areas
- Ensure efficient sequence of service
- Follow up that all given training are fully followed by the staff
- Handle and follow up on any guests complaints and report to line Manager
- Check overall conditions of the Restaurant restaurant
Qualifications :
Knowledge and Experience
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
- Good reading writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel Word & PowerPoint
- High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities
