Job Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our this role you will be responsible
for conducting tests and inspections to ensure that products meet quality standards. You will also
be expected to identify and resolve any quality issues that arise and make recommendations to
management for process improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform quality control tests on components materials and finished products
Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions
Maintain and calibrate welding related testing and production equipment
Ensure quality control documentation is being followed and completed
Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met
Participate in audits of production processes to ensure compliance to standards
Train production staff on standard work and quality control procedures
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes
Communicate quality control findings and recommendations to management
Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret drawings including weld specifications
Proficient in using measuring instruments such as gauges tapes and calipers
Experience with welding tools and equipment
Effective communication and people skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Demonstrated problem-solving skill
