Job Description
About Us:
At Great Lakes Hyundai we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional automotive services and customer experiences. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Automotive Cashier to join our team and help us maintain our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash credit and check payments ensuring all transactions are balanced at the end of each shift.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
- Collaborate with service staff to ensure seamless communication regarding customer accounts and service needs.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures including security and privacy regulations.
- Making phone calls to follow up on service appointments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous cashier or retail experience preferred.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and credit transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with automotive services is a plus but not required.
- Schedule: M 8-4pm W 8-4pm F 9-6pm and rotating Saturdays 8-5pm.
