Job Summary
Description: Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is seeking a MA Department of Elementary & Secondary Education licensed School Psychologist to work as a long-term substitute from February 2026-June 2026 with identified students. Responsibilities include:-initial and re-evaluation testing and report writing.-mental health counseling services.-counseling based on student need attendance educational performance and individualized goals.-communication with parents/guardians school staff and administration.-attend IEP 504 and other relevant student/Team meetings.-conduct safety-risk assessments as needed.-work in collaboration with guidance counselors student support staff and Deans office based on student need.-attend and participate in the Student Study Team/Crisis Team as needed.-other duties as needed delegated by the Director of Student Support Valley Technical High School in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 does not discriminate on the basis of sex sexual orientation gender identity sex stereotypes sex characteristics marital status familial status pregnancy or pregnancy-related conditions and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates as required by Title IX including in admission and employment.
