JOB TITLE: LPN
Full Time: 32-40 hours per week with full benefits
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
- Completes pre-operative assessments and starts patient IV
- Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required by specialty.
- Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Adheres to nursing policy and procedures when documenting information in patients medical record.
- Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the efficiency of the operating room schedule
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Hold an active state license.
- One year experience in an acute care facility preferred.
- CPR Certification
- Ability to start patient IV
