Job Summary

JOB TITLE: LPN

Full Time: 32-40 hours per week with full benefits

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Completes pre-operative assessments and starts patient IV
Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required by specialty.
Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate.
Adheres to nursing policy and procedures when documenting information in patients medical record.
Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the efficiency of the operating room schedule

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
Hold an active state license.
One year experience in an acute care facility preferred.
CPR Certification
Ability to start patient IV
