Overview:Join our dedicated team at Regency Park Nursing and Rehab Center where compassionate care meets exceptional nursing practice. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide top-quality care to our residents in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor and assess patient health to ensure optimal care.
- Patient Assessment:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical emotional and psychological evaluations.
- Monitoring and Documentation:Regularly monitor patient conditions and document changes progress and responses to treatments in electronic health records.
- Patient Advocacy:Serve as a patient advocate by communicating effectively with patients and their families addressing concerns and ensuring informed decision-making.
- Team Collaboration:Work closely with nursing staff physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
- Compliance:Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant healthcare environment.
- Emergency Response:Provide immediate care and support in emergency situations including implementing appropriate interventions and notifying necessary personnel.
Qualifications:
- Licensure:State of Iowa (LPN or RN) Valid and unrestricted license.
- Skills:Strong clinical skills excellent communication abilities and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Certifications:Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
