Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Work Skills Corporation is seeking a passionate and flexible Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our multidisciplinary clinic serving both children and adults. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist youll help implement individualized treatment plans and empower clients to thrive in their daily livesat home school work and in the community.

What Youll Do

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions focused on fine/gross motor skills sensory integration self-care executive functioning and adaptive skills.
  • Work with both pediatric and adult clients tailoring care to their developmental and functional needs.
  • Accurately document treatment sessions and client progress in compliance with standards.
  • Share clinical insights with the supervising OT to support ongoing treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with speech therapists behavior analysts and other professionals for holistic care.
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support therapy goals at home and in daily routines.
  • Maintain a clean safe and supportive therapy environment.
  • Participate in team meetings trainings and professional development.
  • Support administrative tasks and pitch in across departments as neededbecause we all wear many hats!

What Youll Need

  • Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • NBCOT certification.
  • Current state licensure.
  • Experience with both pediatric and adult populations preferredbut a willingness to serve a mixed caseload is essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A flexible creative and client-focused mindset.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Outpatient clinic setting with a multidisciplinary team.

  • Full-time 40 hours a week with NO overtime or weekends.
