This Position reports to:
Production SupervisorThe work model for the role is: Onsite Mebane NC
Your role and responsibilities:
Performing routine machinery set-up adjustments and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts.
Ensuring regular standard maintenance of the equipment tools set-up programming activities and troubleshooting and reporting issues if any; and maintaining detailed records of machinery set-ups repairs and maintenance activities.
Keeping track of approved defective units and final products.
Executes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB Standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
Operates machines in accordance with the operating manual work schedule and/or production order instructions.
Maintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities.
Qualifications for the role:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge and use of tools tape measure calipers grinders or other hand tools as needed.
Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job as needed
Ability to lift push and pull up to 40lbs
Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
