Job Description

Urgent Opening: Sales Officer (AGM)

Job Details:

Designation: Sales Officer (AGM)

Location: Roha Kalyan Mumbra Vasai ( Virar ) Panvel Worli Bandra Andheri

Job Purpose:

The role involves executing coverage and distribution plans within the assigned territory ensuring the successful implementation of the sales and distribution agenda on a daily weekly and monthly basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish coverage distribution and display objectives for all growth officers—distributor-wise under the guidance of the Regional General Manager (RGM).
  • Develop Permanent Journey Plans (PJPs) for all growth officers and Distributor Sales Managers (DSMs).
  • Define primary and secondary targets—town-wise and market-wise—as per the PJPs of all Growth Officers and DSMs.
  • Appoint the required number of distributors and salesmen to achieve sales coverage and distribution targets.
  • Break down objectives into monthly weekly and daily goals ensuring strict reporting compliance.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly review meetings to assess the performance of Growth Officers and DSMs reporting findings to the RGM.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Executives (SMEs) to implement all agreed marketing and branding activities in the designated territory.
  • Execute all market contact plans in alignment with the RGM and provide periodic updates to RGM/GM-Sales.
  • Implement the designated training schedule within the region.
  • Ensure timely processing and approval of self and distributor claims forwarding them to the RGM for authorization.
  • Focus on traditional channels to enhance distribution visibility and sales volumes.
  • Provide regular market updates and insights to the immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain the required manpower as per budget throughout the year in the assigned territory.
  • Work with the RGM/GM-Sales and the personnel department to fill vacancies promptly.
  • Address consumer and trade-related concerns promptly to maintain a healthy business environment.
  • Conduct bi-annual distributor meetings to review business progress and strengthen relationships.
