Job Summary
Position Overview
As a Solution Architect SAP Finance (FI) you will design optimize and implement SAP FI solutions to strengthen financial processes across Fresenius Kabis European business units and beyond.
You will ensure compliance with European and global financial standards align with strategic initiatives and drive transformation projects including S/4HANA migration. Acting as a bridge between finance and IT you will help deliver accurate efficient and compliant financial solutions in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize financial accounting processes in SAP FI ensuring compliance with European regulations.
Oversee the integration of SAP FI with Controlling (CO) and other modules such as SD and MM.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements in line with IFRS and local GAAP.
Lead financial transformation projects including S/4HANA migration initiatives.
Conduct system validations and ensure audit readiness for SAP financial solutions in regulated environments.
Provide expert consultation and recommend improvements for financial workflows.
Support the enhancement and roll-out of global financial standards in European operations.
Contribute as subject matter expert to large transformation programs in SAP Financials.
Your Profile
Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Business Informatics or related field.
At least 6 years of process knowledge in European financial standards including IFRS and local GAAP.
Minimum 6 years of system knowledge in SAP FI with integration experience in CO; knowledge of tax interfaces and compliance automation is a plus.
Experience implementing SAP solutions in large-scale European enterprises.
Strong understanding of finance processes and SAP Financials integration capabilities.
Analytical detail-oriented and structured working style.
Political and cultural awareness with proven success in global and matrix organizations.
Proactive mindset with strong prioritization skills to manage multiple initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal presentation and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel internationally.
