Job Summary:

This full-time position will be responsible for coordinating the needs of multiple faculty and programs within the Section of General Pediatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage schedules for Gen Peds faculty in Qgenda.

  • Create CHC yearly call schedule.

  • Manage and track CU-Medicine and University accounts and generate simple reports.

  • Process invoices and reimbursements.

  • Coordinate and organize meetings among multiple people to occur by phone or in person.

  • Track faculty files for credentialing including BLS/PALS recertification license renewal DEA and association dues. Proactively assist faculty in renewals to avoid lapses in credentialing and memberships.

  • Coordinate and create a quarterly Section newsletter.

  • Support a variety of Section-wide projects as needed.

  • Conduct typical office management functions such as ordering office supplies file maintenance answering phones and attending staff meetings.

  • Perform data entry for projects.

  • Organize staff/faculty recognition and events such as the annual holiday party.

  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A combination of related education and/or relevant general clerical or administrative experience equal to four (4) years.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must successfully pass a 10-panel drug test through Childrens Hospital Colorado.
    Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal and sex-offender background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a hospital or academic setting.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Qgenda and Epic.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

  • Outstanding customer service skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple complex functions at once.

  • Willingness to exercise judgment discretion and be comfortable making decisions independently.

  • Basic understanding of office equipment faxing copying etc.

  • General understanding of Academic Medicine.

Anticipated Salary Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $53400 to $61416.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
