Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Deployment Readiness Health Assessment (DRHA) Technician

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Deployment Readiness Health Assessment (DRHA) Technicianat Tyndall Air Force Base near Panama City Florida.

RN Position Details:

• Full-time position
• No weekend or on-call responsibilities!
• Opportunity to provide care for Active Duty Military and their dependents

Position Qualifications:

• Certificate/Graduate from an accredited community college junior college college university or vocational nursing program
• One year experience as an LPN
• Must possess a current and active LPN license in any U.S. state or jurisdiction
• Active BLS certification

Clinical Scope:

Complete assigned patient care based on the patients conditions use judgment and selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments and accurately recognize report and record relevant patient information.
Observe identify and respond to patients individual healthcare needs including medication medical assistive devices healthcare and patient/family education.
Prepare and administer prescribed medication (oral topical subcutaneous intramuscular and/or intravenous) and perform treatments according to establish policies/procedures.
Recognize urgent or emergent patient care situations seek assistance of the RN and/or Providers and initiate appropriate emergency interventions as directed.
Assist patients and staff with the coordination and scheduling of Physical Health Assessments (PHAs) exams and related tests.
Assist staff with the daily operation of the clinic to include working the front desk answering phones reviewing and creating in-between encounters and intake of scheduled/walk-in patients.
