In this role

You will support our supply chain operations by monitoring inventory levels analyzing stock movements and identifying opportunities for improvement. Leverage your passion for continuous improvement and inventory management expertise in this fast paced cross-functional team environment.



Responsibilities

What youll do

  • Inventory Monitoring and Reporting: Track inventory levels turnover rates and discrepancies using inventory management systems. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends stock imbalances and opportunities to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
  • Demand Forecasting Support: Collaborate with planning teams to support demand forecasting and inventory replenishment strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and recommend improvements to increase accuracy and reduce waste.
  • System Support: Assist in maintaining and improving inventory management systems including data integrity and system enhancements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement warehouse and production teams to resolve inventory issues and ensure material availability.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop and update inventory process documentation and provide training to relevant teams as needed.
  • Drive Transformation:Support activities that contribute to the MP&L Global Industrial System transformation (Tech Modernization BCC/Daily Management Strategy Deployment All-hands/Townhalls Materials Excellence Academy).


Qualifications

Youll have...

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Logistics or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous process improvement.
  • 4 or more years in supply chain or in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with inventory management systems and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • highly analytical with strong communication skills

Even better you may have

  • Masters degree in supply chain management Business Administration Logistics or related field.
  • Experience with demand planning and forecasting techniques.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP Oracle or similar.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
