The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Applications and Product Development Division. The successful candidate will play a key role in oligonucleotide pipeline supporting both Production and Development teams.
How youll contribute:
Perform solid-phase chemical synthesis purification and analytical analysis of oligonucleotides.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and software including DNA synthesizers HPLC purification systems liquid handling robots Benchling and LIMS. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
Prepare buffers and other chemical solutions and manage in-process materials and finished goods to support synthesis workflows.
Track and maintain inventory of raw materials custom products and consumables by using SAP to generate labels complete orders and document inspection of finished goods.
Receive stage store and distribute incoming materials in accordance with business needs and standard operating procedures ensuring accuracy safety and compliance.
Work in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards by following SOPs maintaining clean and organized workspaces and ensuring detailed compliant documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet synthesis goals and support product development initiatives.
Communicate regularly with supervisors to prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects ensuring alignment with team goals and timelines
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience including chemical handling.
Enthusiasm for working in a chemistry laboratory environment and maintaining a safe workspace.
Hands-on experience operating laboratory instruments such as UV-Vis spectrophotometers DNA synthesizers liquid handling robots and HPLC systems. Skilled in performing routine calibration and maintenance of production and lab equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications SAP and electronic lab platforms including Benchling ELN and LIMS.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with management and collaborate across teams
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records analyze data and report findings clearly to supervisors.
