Role overview

Are you looking to expand your expertise in systems strategy in a global environment that allows you to keep pace with the speed of change

At Haleon we are transforming how new technologies are used to improve performance across the organization.

As an API developer you will provide technical expertise in all aspects of software development and solution design implementation and delivery on large complex projects or programs across the supply chain.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver solutions and respond to more complex technical questions regarding the organizations product system or service

• Analyze requirements and translate to technical requirements to develop proposals outlining how the organizations products and services can meet these needs and be integrated and implemented with the customers technical infrastructure.

• Support Project Managers/Service Managers and the delivery team to design develop and transition new applications into production fostering and maintaining close links with infrastructure services colleagues

• Maintain awareness on development standards across peers by conducting regular workshops and training session (knowledge sharing)

• Key stakeholders to engage are the business users DevOps team support team and software vendors

Qualifications and skills

Essential

• Solid understanding of Python fundamentals

• Basic knowledge of SQL databases

• Familiarity with Github or Azure Devops (version control pull requests branches)

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

• Experience creating production-ready technical solutions using innovative technologies

• Experience with agile/scrum techniques

• Effective time management skills

• Ability to collaborate across matrixed organizations

• Strong written and verbal communications skills
