POSITION OVERVIEW
The Business ApplicationsâDeveloperâwill playâan important roleâin LandSolutionsâ(LS) digitalâtransformationâjourney.âThis roleâis responsible forâsupportingâand enhancing enterprise applications Microsoft Power Platform development and driving process improvement through automationâand AI.ââKey areas of focus includeâlow codeâdevelopmentusingMicrosoftPowerAppsandDataversedata integration and transformation (ETL/ELT)âautomation and work augmentation with AI toolsâand business processâoptimization initiatives across the organization.âââ
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design develop andâmaintainâMS Power App applicationsâconnected to Dataverseâin accordance withâdesign standards and business requirements.â
- Workâas a resource for all data management transformation migrations (ETL) repositories data standards common language and data hygiene for company applications.â
- Workâcollaboratively with other business units to support their efforts in automation and process improvements.â
- Ensureâoperational integrity of core application tools/technologies isâmaintained.â
- Document workflows configurations and system changes; ensure knowledge sharing with IT and business stakeholders.âDeliver stakeholder engagement through training demos and technical support.ââ
- Work with variousâbusinessâunitsâto develop solutions by understanding how theyâoperateâto determineâobjectivesâidentifyâproblems with the current businessâprocess designing potential solutions to any problemsâidentified overseeing and/or executing the implementation of approved process improvementsâandâapplications.â
- Assistâtheâcompany in business process design and management including automation of process with technology tools.â
- Playsâa key role in the exploration creation use and deploymentâof AI and AI tools toâoptimizeâandâautomateâoperational tasks.â
- Enhanceâreporting outputs and data visualization to provide clarity and insightful information that supports data driven decision making.â
- Provideârecommendations to the VP Technology Solutions onâapplication improvements and risk mitigation.âââ
- Collaborate with ITâProjectâManagersâvendorsâand businessâunits to ensure application development aligns with security and compliance standards.ââ
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 10 years practical experience.
- University degreeâin Information Technologyâor equivalentâcombination of education andâexperience.
- 3âyears experienceâinâbusiness systems analysis business analysis and systems & application support.â
- 3 years experienceâwith MicrosoftâPowerâPlatform (Power Apps Power AutomateâPower BIâDataverse).â
- 3 years experience withâMS SQL Server SSRS/SSIS and T-SQLâ
- 1 yearsâexperienceâwithâPython and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and software implementation practices.
- Strong understanding of application integrations data modeling and database normalization.
- Proficiencyâusing Microsoft Tech Stack (Power Platform Dataverse SQL Server).
- Proficiencyâin ETL/ELT processes and data quality standards.
- Hands-on experience with MicrosoftâOfficeâCopilotâSharePointâand Teams.
- Experience with relational databases data warehouse/lakeâand reporting solutions.â
- Knowledge of GIS and land access/right-of-way systems is an asset.ââ
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business-friendly language.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
