As a Clinical Nurse III you will assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a procedure setting. You can look forward to using all of your clinical knowledge regarding standards of care as well as supervising the clinical performance of others when acting as charge nurse and mentor. We are looking for a motivated creative nurse that can serve as a catalyst for continuous effective change in this current healthcare environment.
Essential Duties:
- This position is 100% clinic based
- Responsible for clinic intake rooming vital signs medication reconciliation for in person and virtual visits
- Responsible for administration of questionnaires to in-person and virtual patient visits
- Triage patient phone calls
- Send collect and review pre-operative testing requests for patients undergoing procedures
- Follow up and post procedure phone calls
- Placement of orders per standardized procedure or telephone order
- Collaborate with clinic providers regarding any abnormalities in pre-operative testing/imaging/labs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams regarding mutual patients for optimal care
- Access port-a-caths and PICCs for CT exams as needed or required
- Collaborating with scheduling office for follow up appointments
- Patient education and instructions
- Other duties as required
QualificationsQualifications:
License/Certification/Registration:
- Current unrestricted California RN license required
- BLS from the American Heart Association required
- Specialty certification required or willing to obtain one (1) year from start date (for external hires)
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- BSN required
