We are seeking a passionate and energetic Music Teacher to join our this role you will inspire children ages 6 weeks to 5 years through interactive music rhythm and movement activities that support their cognitive social and emotional development.
Pay: $25-28 per hour
Hours: Part-Time - role is in multiple centers
Bachelors in Music preferred must play instruments (guitar ukulele)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age-appropriate music lessons that engage infants toddlers and preschoolers.
- Use songs instruments and movement to enhance language motor and social skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate music into the daily curriculum.
- Plan and lead special music events and performances for families and the school community.
- Ensure a safe supportive and positive environment for all children.
- Maintain music supplies instruments and equipment in good condition.
- Document progress and share feedback with families and center leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Music Education Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience teaching or working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Ability to play one or more instruments (piano guitar drums etc.) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for inspiring young learners through the power of music.
Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
