About the Role
Were looking for an AI Engineer to help design train and deploy AI systems that transform back-office workflows in the supply chain. This role offers the opportunity to work across the stack of AI innovation: from training multimodal LLMs to scaling inference infrastructure to building AI agent workflows that directly impact business outcomes.
Youll face complex technical challenges and collaborate closely with a team of experienced engineers and operators. If you want to work on cutting-edge AI applied to real-world problems in a high-growth environment this role is for you.
Tech focus: LLM training & deployment ML infrastructure inference optimization AI agent workflows backend engineering.
What Youll Do
- Train evaluate and deploy multimodal LLMs with high accuracy
- Scale ML infrastructure to support orders-of-magnitude growth in training and inference volume
- Build and orchestrate AI agent workflows to automate complex audit and compliance tasks
- Develop backend systems to support data extraction normalization and workflow automation
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable production-grade AI systems
Sample Projects
- Scaling throughput of an inference engine via continuous batching
- Fine-tuning multimodal LLMs to reduce hallucinations
- Building agents to automate freight invoice audits
What Were Looking For
- Strong experience in ML modeling infrastructure or AI engineering
- Proficiency with modern LLMs APIs and backend systems
- Ability to ship production-ready AI systems with high reliability
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in solving hard applied AI problems
- Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco 35 days per week
