Site Overview:
Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components supporting not only Indias defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach continue to shape Indias aerospace ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible to work with Commodity Buyer for assigned list of Suppliers.
100% responsible for Material fulfillment for assigned Commodity with overall ownership of material ordering availability and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels at a minimum.
Be responsible for raw material scheduling procurement follow up and expediting.Coordinate with Buyer for plotting the Material visibility to plot the FG unit readiness.
Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure Supplier promise date accuracy
Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.Partner closely with suppliers focusing on: Packaging needs min/max planning. PCNs as they relate to old/existing parts materials replenishment planning
Ideal Candidate :
Candidate with good exposure in Purchasing and Material Management
Required Qualification:
Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical) from a reputed college /university
Person should be pursuing the BE Degree
1-3 years of experience in Purchasing and Material Management
Preferred Qualification:
Familiarity with Six Sigma/Problem Solving tools
