Greenhouse is searching for aSoftware Engineer to join our team!
As a member of the Inbound Sourcing team you will actively contribute to a swift software release cycle and the overall success of Greenhouse. Our Inbound Sourcing team owns many pieces of our core codebase across different applications including our Greenhouse Recruiting application Job boards and MyGreenhouse. You will work across the full stack contributing to a wide range of features. Youll contribute to key projects collaborate with product and design and partner with fellow engineers for pair programming while also working independently to contribute code.

What youll do
- Contribute across the entire software development lifecycle including implementation delivery and maintenance
- Work independently to contribute code and identify areas of refactoring and gain a strong understanding of the codebase
- Write clean and efficient production code for the services that power Greenhouse
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams to deliver new features
- Review code from peers and provide constructive feedback
- Assist in maintaining and improving code quality by testing and debugging
- Work with Product Managers and Designers to understand requirements and contribute to product development
- Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require
You should have
- 2 years experience in writing production code (required)
- Experience with Ruby C# Java or Python (Ruby preferred)
- Proficient understanding of Javascript or Typescript fundamentals including React
- Experience working in the full stack
- Basic understanding of architectural patterns
- REST/web development experience
- Experience with Rails preferred

The national pay range for this role is $120000 - $142000 CAD. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidates experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation including stock option awards bonuses and merit increases. Additionally certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
