Job Summary:

Job Description:

Responsibilities
Greet patients and caregivers explain the intake process answer questions
Accurately register patients and capture required demographic billing and clinical information
Verify insurance obtain authorizations and check medical necessity
Collect copays deductibles and coinsurance or refer to financial counseling
Coordinate with unit staff to support timely placement and reduce delays
Meet productivity quality and privacy standards

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in registration billing scheduling or customer service preferred
Working knowledge of insurance and authorizations a plus
Strong data entry communication and teamwork skills
