Cats Only Veterinary Hospital provides exams laboratory testing radiology surgery and boarding. We are a proud AAFP Gold Certified Cat Feline Friendly Practice. We have a long-standing history with many of our clients and we pride ourselves on the relationships we have built with our clients and the expertise of our amazing doctors.

Part-time and Full-time Opportunities Available!

Salary: $19.00 - 23.00 per hour depending on experience education certifications licensure and location.
Schedule: Open to Part-time or Full-time. 8-hour shifts Monday-Saturday. Must be willing to work on some Saturdays (rotation schedule).

Who You Are:

Do you have a keen interest in education embracing new technology and enhancing operational techniques to support a community of fabulous felines Cats Only Veterinary Hospital is looking for experienced Veterinary Assistants who are looking for a full-time or part-time position. We are a small clinic with one to two doctors working per day in need of a feline fanatic to support them. This is a very hands-on position where you will be directly supporting the doctor.

Minimum 2 years experience working as a veterinary technician or assistant required
Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of cats
Maintain medical records and prepare reports for veterinarians
Provide surgical support and monitor anesthesia on feline patients including high-risk medically complex felines
Comfortable with spicy kitties and able to remain calm with fractious cats
Skilled in performing dental radiographs and dental prophylaxis
Advanced safe handling and positioning for digital radiographs
Perform ultrasound guided cystocentesis
Utilize and maintain in-house laboratory equipment (Idexx/VetScan)
Able to utilize veterinary medical record management software
Provides outstanding customer service and time management skills
Is respectful of all team members
Communicate clearly with clients doctors and all staff members
