As an Applied Scientist you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of computer vision machine learning and AI to deliver an unparalleled user experience for our customers. Key job responsibilities
Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision sensor fusion and machine learning methods to deliver high-quality highly-optimized artifacts that meet product specifications.
Establish scalable efficient and automated processes for large-scale data analysis machine learning model development model validation and gap analysis.
Provide technical leadership and research new machine learning approaches including efficient algorithms for resource-constrained computing platforms to drive continued scientific innovation.
Collaborate with product managers engineers and cross-functional teams to design and implement computer vision and machine learning-based features for Ring and Blink products.
Influence system design and product vision by making informed decisions on the selection of technology data sources algorithms and sensors.
- 5 years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD or Masters degree and 6 years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java C Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
- Experience with modeling tools such as R scikit-learn Spark MLLib MxNet Tensorflow numpy scipy etc.
- Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop Spark etc.
