Job Summary
We are hiring on behalf of our client a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology. Their mission is to empower people to live fit strong long and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime anywhere.
As a Team Leader (with React) you will lead a cross-functional team of engineers in building high-quality scalable and performant applications. Youll work closely with Product Design and UX to deliver value to customers while shaping long-term technical strategy. This role combines hands-on coding technical leadership and people management to drive excellence across engineering practices.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Build and nurture a culture of learning respect transparency and trust.
- Lead and mentor engineers through recruiting onboarding 1:1s and career growth.
- Set team-level KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Technical Ownership
- Oversee architecture and performance of frontend applications.
- Drive clean maintainable and scalable code practices.
- Contribute hands-on to the codebase when needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Design and UX teams to align priorities and deliver roadmap goals.
- Participate in technical discussions code reviews and design sessions.
- Identify dependencies and remove blockers across teams.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise
- 5 years of professional software development experience with strong skills in React JavaScript and cloud.
- Proven track record delivering production-grade applications.
- Solid understanding of agile lean and DevOps principles.
Leadership & Collaboration
- 2 years of experience in team leadership or engineering management.
- Strong mentoring coaching and communication skills.
- Ability to balance product and technical priorities.
