Job Title: QA Technician I - Food Manufacturing
Location:Clackamas OR 97015
Pay Rate:$26.00 - $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Training:
- Week 1: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Week 2: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- After Training:
- 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
Assignment Type:Contract (possibility of extension; conversion to full-time not confirmed)
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Technician in our cold food production facility you will play a key role in ensuring the quality safety and compliance of our milk products. You will be responsible for inspections testing documentation and collaboration with production teams to maintain the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished milk products.
- Perform regular inspections of production processes for compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and document equipment calibration and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support internal audits and assist during external audits.
- Record analyze and report on quality metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance or related role preferably in food production.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures GMPs and applicable regulations.
- Effective communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work assigned shift and occasional weekends if required.
