Job Description
Avista is a progressive organization providing a wide range of services including Day Residential and Respite supports to both Children and Adults in various locations nationally.
The Children and Young Peoples Services within Avista provide interdisciplinary team supports and respite services to 0-18 year old Children and Young People with complex disability needs and their families.
This post is being recruited for our Childrens Disability Network Team in Limerick

Children Disability Network Manager (CDNM)
PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours Per Week)
EAST LIMERICK CHILDRENS SERVICES Limerick
Salary: 89184 to 98158
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Essential:
- Have a relevant professional qualification in an Allied Health or Nursing Professional Grade
- Current registration with NMBI CORU (Health and Social Care Professionals Council) or other professional body
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience with minimum of three years of the experience in paediatric/childrens disability services
- Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services
- Strong knowledge of childrens disability services and multidisciplinary team working
- Full Drivers Licence
- Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
Have an organisational commitment to lead through the Avista Core Values and vision.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams. A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification in management leadership or specialized paediatric field
- Experience working within Childrens Disability Network Teams or similar integrated service models
- Knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to childrens disability services
- Experience in quality improvement initiatives and clinical pathway development
Applicants should possess Level 3 Behavioural Competencies of Avista competency framework
