Architectural Technician
Location: Outskirts of Southampton
Position: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: Competitive (DOE)

Are you an experienced Architectural Technician with strong REVIT skills looking to contribute to large-scale residential developments across the UK

Were looking for a technically capable and detail-oriented individual to join the growing team on the outskirts of Southampton. Youll play a key role in the delivery of high-profile residential schemes for major developers nationwide.

The Role

As an Architectural Technician you will:

  • Be involved in the technical delivery of residential masterplans and housing developments from planning through to construction
  • Collaborate with project architects consultants and developers to ensure cohesive project coordination
  • Translate design concepts into accurate buildable technical documentation

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical and construction drawing packages using REVIT and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants across all design and construction stages
  • Prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications
  • Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations technical standards and client specifications
  • Liaise with contractors clients and local authorities as needed
  • Support junior team members and contribute to a positive collaborative team culture

Requirements

  • Proven experience working on UK residential projects ideally including developer-led housing
  • Strong REVIT proficiency and experience working within BIM environments
  • Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations NHBC standards and construction processes
  • High level of technical detailing and drawing accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive solution-focused approach
  • MCIAT desired but not essential
