Architectural Technician
Location: Outskirts of Southampton

The Role
As an Architectural Technician you will:
- Be involved in the technical delivery of residential masterplans and housing developments from planning through to construction
- Collaborate with project architects consultants and developers to ensure cohesive project coordination
- Translate design concepts into accurate buildable technical documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical and construction drawing packages using REVIT and AutoCAD
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants across all design and construction stages
- Prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications
- Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations technical standards and client specifications
- Liaise with contractors clients and local authorities as needed
- Support junior team members and contribute to a positive collaborative team culture
Requirements
- Proven experience working on UK residential projects ideally including developer-led housing
- Strong REVIT proficiency and experience working within BIM environments
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations NHBC standards and construction processes
- High level of technical detailing and drawing accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a proactive solution-focused approach
- MCIAT desired but not essential
