Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Ophthalmic Technician for an exciting job in New York NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary eye exams and diagnostic tests (visual fields tonometry OCT refraction pupil assessment).
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures; manage patient flow.
- Assist with outpatient studies imaging lab coordination and minor office surgeries.
- Calibrate clean and maintain ophthalmic instruments.
- Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Technical proficiency in ophthalmic diagnostic testing and procedures.
- Patient-centered approach.
Education & Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ophthalmic Technician Certification required.
