Job Summary

Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist 1st Shift
Schedule: 6:00 AM Start Time
Pay: Based on experience
Contract: 90-day contract-to-hire

We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist. This is a hands-on role ideal for a skilled professional who excels in both programming and precision machining within a prototype or production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Program set up and operate CNC machines with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
Develop complex tool paths using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
Interpret and work from blueprints 3D models and engineering drawings
Perform setups and adjustments for various materials and tight-tolerance parts
Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for speed and quality
Work cross-functionally with engineering quality and production teams
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure safety procedures are followed

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in CNC programming and machining (5 years preferred)
Mastery of CAD/CAM software; Mastercam experience is a strong plus
Solid understanding of G-code GD&T and advanced machining techniques
Ability to handle prototype and low-volume production with precision
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Comfortable in a fast-paced high-standards environment
