Job Description

Job Summary:

Performs precision mechanical assembly for Cooler production. Performs the required processes of cleaning documenting and testing of Cooler parts subassemblies and finished goods. Utilizes production tooling computers and specialized equipment required for production and material/WIP tracking. Identifies and documents discrepant material. Interacts with Coworkers Managers and Engineering.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Precision mechanical assembly and adhesive application following work instructions
• Perform measurements and tests from test procedures and document results
• Data entry for travelers and WIP tracking
• Assist Engineering in developmental processes as necessary
• Several cleaning operations
• Miscellaneous support functions as necessary

Job Qualifications:

• Must be able to communicate orally read and write using the English language
• Ability to work using hands and have good manual dexterity with attention to detail
• Basic computer skills - Outlook Excel Word
• Must be able to visually inspect small parts
• Must be able to use small hand tools like tweezers hex keys and probes/picks
• Must be able to use a microscope
• Must be able to use hands to move and assemble very small parts and fastening devices
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

Desired skills:

• 1-2 years related experience with electro-mechanical assembly desired
• Ability to read and understand written test procedures

Note: 2nd shift work schedule is 3:00pm-11:30pm. For the first months 2nd shift new hires may need to train during the 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm. In that case once training is completed they will move to the 2nd shift work schedule. Additionally there maybe a requirement to come in during 1st shift hours for new training on a temporary basis as needed. There will be flexibility to start time during new training.

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce
