The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Procurement Agent (Associate) to join our team in Mesa AZ.
This position will manage the total procurement lifecycle for aftermarket repairs in support of Vertical Lift Sustainment.
Position Responsibilities:
Effectively manages priorities for a high volume of stand-alone repair orders
Works with internal and external customers to formalize procurement requirements
Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Communicates across functions and programs to effectively manage risks issues and opportunities
Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 years of experience do you have working with Supplier Management Supply Chain Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer is highly desired
Experience in proposing negotiating and executing contracts and/or subcontracts in support of US Government requirements is desired
