Job Summary

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Med / Surg Neuro

RN - MED/SURG NEURO

Full-Time DAYS

Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Neuro Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
  • Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety.
  • Ensure effective care and use of time supplies and equipment.
  • Educate patients regarding their medications procedure and treatments providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse - Med / Surg Neuro

RN - MED/SURG NEURO

Full-Time DAYS

Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Neuro Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • 1 year of ACUTE CARE RN experience.
  • Current BLS required
  • Current ACLS preferred required within 6 months of hire
  • BSN is preferred
  • If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (Theyll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward
  • If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience theyll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
