Sr. FP&A Analyst Location: Washington DC Metro Area
Employment Type: Full-Time Hybrid EligibleAbout the OpportunityA fast-growing clean energy company is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This organization develops and operates utility-scale energy storage projects that help customers reduce costs improve grid reliability and integrate renewable energy sources. The company is mission-driven and entrepreneurial with a leadership team that brings decades of experience in clean energy and infrastructure.This is a high-impact role reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities- Build enhance and maintain end-to-end financial and operational models
- Lead monthly quarterly and annual financial reviews and analysis
- Improve and implement budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support preparation of board and executive-level presentations
- Conduct in-depth cash flow and financial performance analysis
- Collaborate with accounting and treasury teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Provide ad hoc support across finance accounting and treasury functions
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- 2 years of experience in corporate FP&A (renewable energy experience a plus)
- Strong Excel skills with ability to build and interpret complex models
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and reporting tools; skilled in executive presentation development
- Understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
