The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst Manager (Level K) to join the Skill Enhancement team based out of Everett Washington. While this role is primarily located in Everett the first six months will be spent in Renton for training purposes.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative team and directly impacts the 737 North Line Delivery Operations manufacturing this role you will manage employees using advanced technical aircraft knowledge to create and deploy projects related to aviation testing maintenance and other delivery operations statement of work.
In this role you will lead a team of subject matter experts in Renton Preflight/Renton Paint as well as a team at the Seattle Delivery Center. You will interact with and support site leadership daily and work with your team to create action plans to address any upskilling needed for the manufacturing teams skillset. You will then create and deploy an upskilling schedule for the manufacturing teammates.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manages develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
5 years of experience leading a team formal or informally teams in a cross-functional environment
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
Must be willing to work a variable shift/ site as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience with LEAN Methodologies and productivity improvements
Experience in root cause analysis/systematic problem solving
Excellent communication skills
Experience in motivating teams
