About the Role
We are seeking a Domestic BER Assessor to conduct Building Energy Ratings (BER) assessments and provide compliance guidance to clients. This role offers a clear progression path into Non-Domestic BER Assessments with fully funded training provided for career development.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct Domestic BER assessments and generate compliance reports.

Carry out building surveys and assess compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.

Perform U-value calculations and condensation risk analysis.

Provide energy efficiency advice and compliance recommendations to clients.

Work towards Non-Domestic BER Assessor qualification with company-supported training.
Key Skills & Expertise
Essential:
-
Level 6 Qualification in Construction Engineering Architecture or Sustainability.

Registered Domestic BER Assessor with SEAI.
-
Strong IT skills including AutoCAD Microsoft Word and Excel.

Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Self-motivated enthusiastic and strong communication skills.
Desired:
-
Experience with Non-Domestic BER Assessments (funded training available if not yet qualified).

Knowledge of TGD Part L & F (NZEB regulations).

2 years experience in a similar role.
