This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of experts and progress into Non-Domestic BER Assessments with funded training provided for career development

About the Role

We are seeking a Domestic BER Assessor to conduct Building Energy Ratings (BER) assessments and provide compliance guidance to clients. This role offers a clear progression path into Non-Domestic BER Assessments with fully funded training provided for career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Domestic BER assessments and generate compliance reports.

  • Carry out building surveys and assess compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.

  • Perform U-value calculations and condensation risk analysis.

  • Provide energy efficiency advice and compliance recommendations to clients.

  • Work towards Non-Domestic BER Assessor qualification with company-supported training.

Key Skills & Expertise

Essential:

  • Level 6 Qualification in Construction Engineering Architecture or Sustainability.

  • Registered Domestic BER Assessor with SEAI.

  • Strong IT skills including AutoCAD Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

  • Self-motivated enthusiastic and strong communication skills.

Desired:

  • Experience with Non-Domestic BER Assessments (funded training available if not yet qualified).

  • Knowledge of TGD Part L & F (NZEB regulations).

  • 2 years experience in a similar role.
