Job Summary

Emerald Zebra Recruitment is hiring a Junior Accountant for a leading specialist investment manager based in Nicosia Cyprus. This is the perfect opportunity for you if you have 1-2 years of accounting experience (bookkeeping) and are looking to take the next step in your career. Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports
General ledger posting
Bank Debtor Creditor reconciliations
Preparation of payment instructions
Preparations for VAT/VIES returns
Invoicing and Administration
Oversee correct allocation of expenses to clients primarily agents costs couriers and other 3rd party expenses
Any other ad hoc projects required by management

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
LCCI Higher

Knowledge and Skills:

1-2 years bookkeeping experience in a Finance Department will be considered an advantage
Ability to manage plan and prioritize workload
Numerate thorough with attention to detail
Good team player able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (knowledge of Navision will be considered as an advantage)
Excellent command of Greek and English language
