Job Summary
Radiography Assistant
Bristol Hospital Permanent Full-time
Up to 24043.50 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week
Our Radiology department currently have an opportunity for a Radiography Assistant. Continue your journey with us whilst well support you to be your best.
We are a small team of 16 staff consisting of Radiographers Radiology Assistants and Admin staff. We take pride in providing an excellent service caring for all our visitors and adapting to the needs of the department and supporting each other.
Join our department and become a member of our lovely team. As our Radiography Assistant you will:
Assist qualified staff during radiological and ultrasound procedures.
Prepare the examination room prior to radiological/ultrasound procedures.
Act as chaperone during examinations.
Receive admit and prepare patients for examination.
Provide general administration assistance including the collation distribution and filing of diagnostic imaging reports and films.
To succeed as a Radiography Assistant you will need:
Good communication skills and customer service awareness
Basic IT skills
Administration/organisational skills.
Experience within a work environment preferably within a customer focused / people focused setting.
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
