What this job involves:JLL is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager for an on-site role to support the delivery of comprehensive facility management services. This position involves assisting the Facilities Manager in operating and maintaining assigned properties including customer/client services financial management facility maintenance procurement and supplier management while developing strong client relationships to support corporate real estate goals and objectives.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Directly support the Facilities Manager in executing portfolio management needs and service delivery operations
Ensure client satisfaction by monitoring and increasing customer satisfaction while supporting employee experience initiatives
Manage site-level relationships with key client representatives and stakeholders to discuss service delivery and forward planning
Assist with critical after-hour issues and participate as a key team member in emergency response situations
Manage various facilities projects and provide input into business cases for facilities and operating budget recommendations
Operate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and conduct daily/weekly/monthly office inspections
Prepare submit and manage facility budgets while tracking variances and ensuring accurate forecasting processes
Hold service providers accountable to contract terms and ensure compliance with deliverables
Report on critical performance measurements and achieve targets on metrics and internal audits
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of industry experience in corporate environment or third-party service provider
Superior people management and client relationship management skills
Experience managing multiple vendors and small capital projects
Excellent time management skills to meet contractual deadlines and handle multiple simultaneous projects
Managerial experience including budget management contract management and people development
Strong work ethic interpersonal skills and ability to work well across all organizational levels
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to use data for decision-making
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Project PowerPoint Excel)
Preferred:
Bachelors degree
Experience working on a client-account
History of delighting facility occupants
Salary: $65000 -$70000 / year
Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with on-call required 24/7 for emergency responses(when needed)
