This is a Long-Term Assignment to Birmingham UK for up to 18 months. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.
This Quality Management position is a key member of the leadership team and we are seeking a detail oriented highly organized change agent to lead a team in the development implementation and continuous improvement of technical strategies to bolster compliance repeatability and sustainability within the Quality Organization. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees at a Part-145 repair station performing modification to military commercial derivative aircraft
Develops quality strategies and plans in support of aircraft modification
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System and part-145
Acquires and manages resources provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports
Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility. Manages develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
2 years of experience working in an aircraft maintenance or part-145 environment
3 years of experience with Quality and/or Manufacturing processes and organizations
3 years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. Customers suppliers peers and/or partners)
3 years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
1 year of Leadership experience with technical employees
3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using schematics blueprints sketches manuals technical documents written information verbal information applicable procedures codes and ordinances
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree or higher
Demonstrated experience in quality leadership
Experience in a developmental program
Experience on a production program
