Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Vulcraft Utah is seeking applications for the position of Millwright. The Maintenance Millwright position will work closely with Maintenance and Operations personnel by providing technical expertise in developing and sustaining the product produced. This shall include predictive preventative and corrective maintenance for heavy use industrial equipment.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work weekends holidays rotating shifts and scheduled and unscheduled overtime on short notice
- Prior experience with or understanding/knowledge of electrical hydraulic mechanical pneumatic and power transmission systems.
- Willing/able to meet the physical work requirements and perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferences:
- 3 year experience in an industrial maintenance
- Equipment upgrade installation and commissioning experience
- Mechanical capacity to learn and work on plant industrial machinery
- Self-sufficient problem solver with great interpersonal skills
- Technical degree or technical certification
- Experience with any/all of the following: Rockwell PLCs and drives Siemens PLCs and drives Lenze drives Safety PLC etc.
