Junior Full Developer

NetImpactis seeking a motivated Developer with exposure to containerized application environments and Kubernetes (K8s) orchestrationpreferably using Rancher. This role is ideal for early-career developers who want to deepen their technical skillset while contributing to modern scalable applications in a federal consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop enhance and applications using C# .NET 6 and related frameworks.
• Integrate models into application features under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Build and deploy containerized applications (Docker) within Kubernetes clusters.
• Support configuration deployment and monitoring of workloads running in Rancher-managed K8s environments.
• Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines as part of an Agile development team.
• Collaborate with senior developers testers and product owners to refine requirements and deliver working software.
• Write clean maintainable code following established standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews sprint ceremonies and solution design discussions.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in related technical discipline
• 12 years of experience with .NET (C# Core) development
• Experience building or integrating models
• Exposure to containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts
• Familiarity with Rancher or other Kubernetes management platforms
• Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements (US Citizenship required)

Preferred

• Experience with Entity Framework Core REST API development or microservices
• Hands-on work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions GitLab Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Prior federal IT or consulting experience
