Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Assisting in preparation of electrical distribution illumination and traffic signals systems design drawings
- Drafting in AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Ensuring timely delivery of work youre leading
- Carrying out quality checks while following internal procedures
- Assisting senior staff with technical tasks and the day-to-day operation of the office
- Coordination and liaison with approving authorities utility companies and outside design team members
What you will bring to the team:
- College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
- A passion for renewable and industrial power systems design
- 0-2 year experience (includes co-op experience)
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation environments
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word Excel Outlook)
- A self-motivated quick learner with a can do approach
- Able to multitask in a fast pace environment
- Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid drivers license
