Position Overview
Were seeking a passionate Casual Chef to join our this role youll prepare nutritious child-friendly meals that meet dietary requirements and promote healthy eating habits. As a casual team member youll enjoy the flexibility of working across a variety of shifts while still making a meaningful impact on childrens wellbeing and being part of a supportive passionate team.
Responsibilities
Prepare fresh nutritious meals and snacks for children.
Cater to a variety of dietary needs allergies and cultural preferences.
Maintain high standards of food safety hygiene and kitchen organisation.
Support educators in promoting healthy eating and nutrition education.
Build positive relationships with children families and team members.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience as a Chef/Cook ideally in childcare school or similar environment.
Certificate in Food Handling/Safety (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of child nutrition.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Positive flexible and team-focused attitude.
