Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Contract)
Location: Saratoga Springs NY
Shift: Night Shift 3x12 hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intensive care excellent clinical judgment and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in a fast-paced ICU setting.
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices.
Monitor and manage ventilators drips central/arterial lines and other complex therapies.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document all care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.
Provide compassionate patient- and family-centered care.
Qualifications:
Active New York State RN license required.
Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certification required (other critical care certifications a plus).
Proficiency in electronic charting systems (Epic preferred).
Strong assessment prioritization and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled.
