Position Details:
Position Duration: This position is a grant funded position through June 30 2026 with expected renewal based upon college approval/funding.
Schedule/Location: This hourly position works in person 40 hours per week at our Goodman South Campus. General working hours are 8:00-4:30 M-F with some evenings and weekends as needed.
Benefits: This position offers excellent full-time benefits including health/vision/dental insurance.
Language Premium: This position offers a $200 per month bilingual pay premium (Spanish or Arabic). Verbal reading and writing proficiency testing is required.

2. Cover Letter - In your cover letter (or on a separate document) please describe your level of proficiency with either Spanish or Arabic. Also please describe your level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and your comfort level learning new technology.
Accountabilities:
Develops and teaches new digital skills workshops and orientations that are accessible and aligned with course content while serving as the primary point of contact for walk-in phone and online inquiries to ensure students receive timely relevant support that promotes digital readiness and academic engagement.
Facilitates regular drop-in digital literacy support sessions for students to provide accessible just-in- time assistance that builds digital confidence promotes effective use of technology and supports success in teaching and learning.
Provides one-on-one student tutoring that addresses specific digital skills gaps to enhance learning proficiency empower students with the confidence to use technology effectively and support their overall academic success.
Assists with the distribution and management of loaner laptops and hotspots for students in need to ensure equitable access to technology removing barriers to learning and enabling full participation in academic activities.
Maintains an online resource hub with video tutorials and FAQs to provide on-demand self-paced support that reinforces digital learning extends access beyond in-person services and empowers users to develop skills independently.
Monitors the integration of digital competencies into all course offerings to ensure consistent incorporation of essential digital skills thereby enhancing student learning outcomes and preparing learners for academic and professional success.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Digital Skills: Computer fundamentals email usage file management
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) Google Workspace. Ability to perform basic IT troubleshooting experience (software errors login errors and connectivity issues)
Familiarity with online learning software (such as MyEnglishLab and other relevant software).
Ability to work independently with general supervision.
Ability to provide customer service and resolve concerns.
Experience with or ability to quickly learn collaboration software i.e. Webex TEAMS.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree (or equivalent work experience)
0-2 years of relevant work experience
Bilingual in Spanish or Arabic (proficiency testing required)
